We’re looking for a hands-on Director of AI Engineering Platform to lead the development of our internal AI tooling and infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and scaling the platform that empowers our product teams to build AI-native applications faster and more effectively. You will pair strategy with execution and help shape what "AI-native engineering" really means.

• Build and own our internal AI engineering platform
• Design reusable patterns, tools, and infra for fast AI-native development
• Pair with product and engineering leads
• Create standards that scale across teams

• Talk directly to clients and internal users
• Write code, mentor engineers, and make decisions

YOU

• Led or built engineering platforms at scale
• Have opinions on tools, but flexibility on solutions
• Can architect systems and also ship code
• Senior or higher
• Excited about platform as a product
• Tired of legacy platforms pretending to be modern
• Understand AI/ML in production settings (or ready to learn fast)

YOUR STACK

• Node.js, TypeScript, Python
• Cloud-native architecture (AWS, GCP, etc.)
• Containers, serverless, CI/CD
• PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka
• AI/ML tooling (LangChain, OpenAI APIs, HuggingFace, etc.)
• Vector DBs (Weaviate, Qdrant, Pinecone, etc.)
