Position: Data Analyst (Full-time, Bertrange, Luxembourg)
As we expand, we’re looking for a Data Analyst on a permanent contract to join our team. In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of finance, sustainability and technology—designing automated pipelines, transforming raw data into actionable insights and helping our asset-management clients meet their strategic and regulatory objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop and maintain automated ETL workflows in Python to ingest, cleanse and transform datasets from multiple sources.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract and optimize data via SQL; leverage Python (Pandas, NumPy) to perform in-depth analyses; automate routine reports and deliver insights on performance, risk and compliance.
- Dashboarding & Visualization: Build interactive dashboards and reporting tools—primarily using Python libraries, advanced Excel and Power BI—to monitor trends, KPIs and regulatory metrics.
- Data Governance & Quality: Collaborate with Data Management, Compliance and Legal teams to define data standards, validate integrity and ensure adherence to applicable regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and implement reusable Python modules or VBA scripts to streamline tasks and reduce manual effort.
- Client Engagement: Partner directly with asset-management clients to understand their data needs, tailor analytical solutions and support them through their reporting and decision-making processes.
Profile & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Economics or a related quantitative discipline
- 0-2 years’ experience in a data-focused role (e.g., data analysis, data engineering or similar)
- Strong Python skills (data libraries such as Pandas and NumPy; scripting for automation). AI expertise is a welcomed plus. Experience with web frameworks (Django, streamlit, etc...) and HTML is a strong advantage
- Good working knowledge of SQL
- Expert command of MS Office—advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VBA/macros), Word and PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of Power BI
- Excellent analytical mindset, attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Fluent English (written and spoken). French or German are a welcomed plus
- Valid Luxembourg work permit
