DevOps Engineer

🚀 DevOps Engineer – Kafka (Onsite | Luxembourg | EU Nationals Only)

We're supporting a key client in Luxembourg who is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong Kafka expertise to join their team on a long-term onsite contract.

📍 Location: Luxembourg (Onsite)

📅 Start Date: ASAP

🛂 EU Citizenship required (due to security clearance needs)

🔧 Responsibilities:

• Deploy, maintain, and optimise Kafka clusters in production
• Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
• Integrate Kafka with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace)
• Ensure secure and scalable Kafka operations
• Collaborate with internal teams to support real-time data flows

✅ Required Skills:

• 5+ years in DevOps or SRE roles
• Hands-on expertise with Apache Kafka
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiar with Kubernetes, Kafka Connect, Zookeeper, CI/CD tools

➕ Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Confluent Kafka
• Knowledge of Kafka Streams, Flink, or event-driven architectures
