Interim Product UX Designer

Are you an experienced product designer available for a short summer assignment?

Join a dynamic team as a Product Designer focused on a Financial License project, aimed at ensuring compliance with the upcoming Buy Now, Pay Later legislation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with stakeholders, and validate designs through user feedback in a fast-paced environment.

This assignment will initially last until end of September 2025 (might be extended later on).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Financial License features, ensuring compliance with regulations;
• Manage stakeholder communications to align design efforts with business goals and user needs;
• Validate design concepts and prototypes through user testing to gather insights and refine the product experience;
• Analyze user feedback and data insights to improve design effectiveness and user satisfaction;
• Contribute to design community by sharing best practices, learnings, and design solutions within the organization.

• 5+ years of proven experience in product design, preferably in Fintech or regulated financial environments;
• Strong ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members;
• Proficient in user research methodologies, usability testing, and customer validation techniques;
• Excellent analytical skills for interpreting user data and feedback;
• Strong presentation and communication skills to effectively showcase designs and concepts.

A great full time assignment of 36-40 hours in Utrecht (three days a week in the office), from July 2025 to end of September 2025. The hourly rate for a freelancer/ZZP ranges between 70-75 EUR all in depends on your experience and seniority. There's also the possibility of being on a flex contract via us, in which case an attractive salary applies.
