E-Commerce Frontend & Web Operations Developer

We are looking for an Ecommerce Frontend & Web Operations Developer to support the execution and optimization of content across the ecommerce platform, ensuring alignment with UX mockups and marketing calendars. The role combines content management operations and frontend web development, playing a crucial part in maintaining a high-quality shopping experience on guess.eu.

You will work closely with the E-Commerce UX Design & Development team and cross-functional ecommerce stakeholders to manage content updates, schedule campaigns, configure promotions, and apply customizations on HTML templates through code.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Develop, Schedule, and update banners, landing pages, blog entries and promotional content according to the marketing calendar
• Edit and adapt HTML/CSS/JavaScript templates based on mockups and localization requirements
• Integrate translated content into multilingual templates
• Manage content assets, slots, and associated metadata
• Configure and schedule promotions, campaigns, coupons, source codes, customer groups and segmentation rules
• Manage ecommerce configuration: shipping, payments, transactional emails, and backend settings
• Update and test content and promotions in staging vs production environments
• Maintain consistency and quality across all digital content experiences
• Collaborate on the implementation of AJAX/API-based interactions (e.g., content loading, form submissions, filtering)
• Interact with APIs (including OCAPI) to support advanced dynamic content use cases
• Contribute to improving and optimizing the frontend layer with React (considered a plus)
  
  

Requirements

• At least 5 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within an e-commerce environment (Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience is a strong plus)
• Solid technical skills, including: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
• CMS experience, preferably with SFCC Business Manager
• Excel, CSV/XML/JSON data formats
• Basic API integration (REST, OCAPI)
• Familiarity with: Version control (e.g., Git) and code debugging
• React.js as a frontend framework (considered a plus)
• AJAX for dynamic interactions
• Good understanding of UX principles and responsive design
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus
• Highly organized and able to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
