One of our leading clients are seeking for "DevOps Engineer" for a 12 to 24+ month contract in Ticino, Switzerland. Must be available to work 5 days onsite.
Key Skills:
- Linux System Administration: Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu), including configuration, troubleshooting, and security.
- Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud service providers like OCI, including their services and best practices.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash, along with basic knowledge of programming languages like Java, Node.js, or Python.
- DevOps Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation), and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Monitoring and Logging Tools: Familiarity with tools like CloudWatch, Splunk, Dynatrace, or Nagios.
- Networking: Understanding of network concepts like load balancers, firewalls, and DNS.
- Security: Awareness of security best practices and compliance standards.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues and optimize performance.
Additional Considerations:
- Specific Cloud Environments:- Experience with specific cloud environments (e.g., OCI) is highly valued.
Primary Skills Required: Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Linux components, Backup. Computing Linux Storage
