The EMEA Parts Supply Chain team is responsible for direct purchasing and material planning for Tesla EMEA vehicle service parts. As a Supply Chain Data Analytics Intern on the Process and Analytics sub-team, you will help in managing strategic projects and continuous improvement efforts to transform Tesla’s Supply Chain organization to be data and systems-driven, robust, and effective. You will simultaneously support in delivering process advancements and data insights that are critical with the increasing production volume and fleet size, while collaborating with the planning team, procurement, and other stakeholders.
For this role, it is essential that you can think strategically, connecting the dots in the bigger picture, as well as being comfortable with the details of the deliverables. You will be expected to simultaneously handle multiple data projects of department-level scale and global reach. Tesla is a fast-moving, dynamic environment where flexibility and adaptability are key attributes. The successful candidate is a self-starter with a passion for data analytics and supply chain and continuously demonstrates an ability to tackle complex problems and implement solutions
What You'll Do
Transform complex data into actionable insights using Python Manipulate and interpret large datasets to assess business impact and priorities while utilizing Tableau, SQL, and Tesla in-house reporting tools Develop and implement intuitive reports that provide insights for business decision-making Assist in building and fine-tuning predictive models, working with cross-functional teams to integrate these models into daily operations Support management with dashboards, data pulls, and ad-hoc analysis Communicate with stakeholders, gather business requirements, and brainstorm KPIs Maintain clear and organized documentation of data sources, analysis methodologies, and results Identify gaps in supply chain operations processes and areas for optimization and automation Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
What You'll Bring
Currently pursuing an education in Business Analytics, Data Science, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Information Studies, Operations, Engineering, or a related field Experience working with Python with a strong ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code Experience working with SQL, and familiarity with at least one data visualization tool (e.g., Tableau) Preferable: Knowledge of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Manufacturing/Process Engineering Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and handle unexpected challenges, maintaining a high level of productivity without compromising quality under pressure
