Software Architect (DevOps) – Tech Startup | Dubai

💰 Salary: AED 18,000 – 20,000/month

📍 Location: Dubai (on-site)

We’re recruiting for a growing Dubai-based tech startup building a modern, scalable SaaS platform. They’re looking for a hands-on Software Architect who can lead backend architecture design and guide the engineering team on best practices as the platform scales.

The Role

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the high-level architecture of backend systems and APIs
• Design scalable, modular microservices from the ground up
• Guide developers on architectural best practices and clean code principles
• Lead design reviews, technical documentation, and system roadmaps
• Work closely with DevOps to ensure smooth CI/CD and Kubernetes deployments
• Make critical decisions on backend technologies and data structures

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including recent architectural work
• Strong experience in system design, distributed systems, and backend architecture
• Proficiency in at least one of: Laravel, Node.js, or Java
• Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and database design
• Bonus: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud infrastructure
