As our client rapidly scales across the MENA region, they are seeking a talented AI Developer to help drive the intelligence layer powering key features and automation.

The Role

This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes AI/ML and wants to work on real-world applications — from chatbots and recommendation engines to fraud detection and UGC classification. You’ll collaborate across product, engineering, and growth teams to embed intelligence across the platform and transform how users, vendors, and creators interact.

Key Responsibilities:

AI/ML System Development

• Build and deploy ML models to:
• Power recommendation engines for products, sellers, and influencers
• Predict user churn, engagement, and LTV
• Detect fraudulent activity in MLM/affiliate systems
• Classify and moderate user-generated content (text, images, videos)

Natural Language Processing (NLP)

• Develop GPT-powered chatbots for customer support and product discovery
• Analyze sentiment from reviews, chats, and support tickets
• Auto-generate product descriptions, social posts, and content at scale

AI Ops & Workflow Automation

• Build scalable AI automations using LangChain, n8n, or custom GPT wrappers
• Integrate AI systems with Firebase, Stripe, internal tools, and dashboards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities

Data Engineering & Model Deployment

• Collect and engineer data from users, commerce, and engagement pipelines
• Build training pipelines and deploy models using Docker, FastAPI, and cloud tools
• Monitor performance: accuracy, bias, latency, and business impact

Innovation & R&D

• Lead PoCs for next-gen AI tools like visual search, AI rewards systems, etc.
• Explore generative AI using LLMs, GANs, and Vector DBs
• Stay on the pulse of AI ethics and advise leadership on risks and strategy

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Partner with engineering teams to embed AI into the platform architecture
• Educate product and business teams on AI capabilities and constraints
• Mentor junior devs and contribute to technical hiring processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML roles (preferably in a product or startup environment)
• Strong Python skills with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, spaCy, HuggingFace Transformers
• Solid understanding of ML principles: classification, regression, embeddings, time series
• Experience with FastAPI, Docker, and deploying on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Comfortable working with unstructured data: text, images, and social signals
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, Firebase, MongoDB, or BigQuery

Bonus Points

• Experience building GPT-based applications using OpenAI, Anthropic, or Cohere APIs
• Experience in MLM or affiliate-based AI systems (e.g., commission optimization, fraud detection)
• Knowledge of LangChain, Pinecone, ChromaDB, RAG pipelines, or AutoML platforms
• Familiarity with ethical AI and tools like SHAP or LIME
• Arabic language skills or experience working with Arabic NLP and MENA-focused models
