About the Role

Our client is a well-backed London-based tech scale-up building innovative solutions in the fintech space. They are growing fast and looking for a Junior to Mid-Level .NET Software Engineer to join their engineering team full-time.

This is a hybrid position, with just 2 days per week in the London office (flexible day). It’s an ideal opportunity for someone with commercial .NET experience looking to join a product-driven environment, learn from experienced engineers, and grow within a high-energy, collaborative team.

The Tech Stack

• C# / .NET Core
• ASP.NET / REST APIs
• SQL Server / Entity Framework
• Azure (bonus)
• Git / CI-CD / Agile environment

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building and maintaining APIs and backend services in .NET Core
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features and improvements
• Participating in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies
• Writing clean, testable, and scalable code
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and deploying updates
• Contributing to a culture of learning, improvement, and innovation

What We're Looking For

• 1–3+ years of experience with C# and .NET (commercial or strong internship)
• Solid understanding of software development fundamentals
• Familiar with Git and working in Agile teams
• Passion for clean code, problem-solving, and continuous learning

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud (Azure preferred)
• Exposure to frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Blazor)
• Startup or scale-up experience
• Familiarity with DevOps tools or CI/CD pipelines
