Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer

Pay Rate: C$60/hour

Location: 222 Jarvis St., Toronto, ON, Canada

Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement machine learning and deep learning models
• Conduct data analysis to identify patterns between inputs and desired outputs
• Understand business goals and translate them into modeling objectives and metrics
• Train, fine-tune, and test ML algorithms for production environments
• Execute machine learning experiments and assess results
• Apply relevant algorithms based on problem statements
• Clean and verify data for quality and consistency
• Supervise data acquisition and ensure alignment with modeling requirements
• Manage resources including hardware and personnel to meet deadlines
• Visualize and explore data for insights and distributional analysis for deployment
• Strong foundation in ML theory, algorithm design, and applied techniques
• Experience with transformer-based models like BERT for text classification, sentiment analysis, and language comprehension
• Proficiency in TensorFlow and/or PyTorch
• Text processing expertise including tokenization, normalization, and handling embeddings
