Job Title: Front End Engineer - 3-6 month contract - Well known LLM startup

Rate: 90-110

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Contract (3 month contract, with potential to extend)

Overview:

A high-growth LLM (Large Language Model) company is seeking a talented Front End Engineer to build a next-generation web experience. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing and developing a polished, performant, and user-centric website that showcases cutting-edge AI products. Key Responsibilities:

• UI/UX Development:

Architect, develop, and maintain responsive web interfaces with a focus on performance, accessibility, and modern design principles.

• Collaboration:

Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences features.

• Component Design:

Build and maintain reusable front end components and design systems for rapid development and consistent branding.

• Quality & Optimization:

Ensure cross-browser compatibility, optimize for speed and SEO, and uphold high standards for code quality and testing.

• Rapid Iteration:

Participate in agile sprints, quickly iterate on feedback, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Must-Haves:

• React (with TypeScript)

• Next.js or similar SSR frameworks

• CSS-in-JS (Styled Components, Emotion, or similar)

• RESTful and GraphQL API integration

Good-to-Haves:

• Experience with LLM or AI-driven product interfaces

• Tailwind CSS or other utility-first CSS frameworks

• Familiarity with CI/CD for front end deployments

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, etc.)

• Exposure to A/B testing and rapid experimentation frameworks

Languages:

• TypeScript (primary)

• JavaScript (ES6+)
