Job Title: Drupal/ PHP Developer
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite)
Duration: 09/01/2025 – 08/31/2026
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Note: Need someone with State or Federal Client experience and must be local to Austin.
Job Summary:
Seeking a senior-level Developer Analyst to serve as the primary Drupal and WordPress administrator. The role includes designing, developing, and maintaining web and browser-based applications within a LAMP/LEMP environment. Responsibilities also include database management, technical documentation, cross-agency collaboration, and user training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and administer Drupal and WordPress websites.
- Maintain and enhance in-house web applications supporting agency operations.
- Provide training and support on web systems.
- Participate in cross-functional workgroups to support enterprise web standards.
- Generate weekly progress reports and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
- Maintain system documentation and update stakeholders on risks and maintenance.
Minimum Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience with:
- PHP programming within LAMP/LEMP stack
- Drupal and WordPress site administration
- Web frameworks such as Laravel, Django, Symfony
- CMS-based enterprise site development (tools, workflows, custom themes/modules)
- HTML, CSS, jQuery, MySQL
- Linux OS and command-line interface
- System development and troubleshooting
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with:
- Python programming in LAMP/LEMP stack
- Drush, Solr, or similar tools
- Responsive website design and AJAX
- JavaScript, Ruby, Java
- Remedy, KACE, or ticketing systems
- Cross-site scripting and SQL injection prevention
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Recent certifications in programming/web development
Work Environment:
- Onsite: 1201 Brazos Street, Austin, TX
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- May require occasional after-hours support
- Reports to IT Operations Manager and works closely with other IT staff
