Principal - VC Investing (Digital Assets & Crypto)

A privately held investment platform—one of the earliest and most active backers of the digital‑asset ecosystem—is seeking a Principal‑level Investment Professional to spearhead its U.S. crypto Venture Capital investment efforts. With billions deployed across venture, liquid tokens, and strategic M&A, the firm partners with entrepreneurs building the next generation of blockchain infrastructure and applications.

This is a high‑visibility seat with direct influence on deal selection, portfolio construction, and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Origination & Sourcing – Identify breakout U.S. opportunities across early‑stage venture, growth rounds, and opportunistic secondary/token deals
• Lead Diligence – Own technical, commercial, and token‑economic analysis; drive valuation modeling and scenario planning
• Conviction Building – Craft concise investment memos and present recommendations to the internal IC and LP advisory boards
• Network Development – Leverage and expand a deep founder, operator, and co‑investor network; champion the firm at conferences, demo days, and online forums
• Portfolio Stewardship – Serve on boards or observer seats, architect follow‑on rounds, and collaborate with portfolio teams on token launches, governance, and growth strategy
• Thought Leadership – Publish market insights, protocol research, and theses that shape the firm’s brand within the crypto community

Ideal Profile:

• 6–12 years in venture capital, or growth equity, with at least 3+ years focused on blockchain investments
• Demonstrated record of leading deals from sourcing through close (board or observer experience preferred)
• Robust U.S. founder / developer / token‑holder network and reputation for value‑add post‑investment
