We are RacePace, a pioneering startup in AI-driven endurance sports looking for a sports & tech enthusiast to help us build, refine, and scale our product. Backed by AWS First Incubator, Vienna Business Agency, and Genesis Accelerator, we are on a mission to bring accessible, personalized training to trail runners and endurance athletes everywhere and you could be the first teammate to join us in the journey.

• Most of Your Time: Build and improve our front-end experience using core languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with the React for dynamic, responsive user interfaces.
• Collaborate directly with our CTO on a variety of tech tasks: design, testing, brainstorming, implementing new features, researching, and more!
• As You Grow in Your Role: Expand into back-end development with Django.
• Contribute to Machine Learning/AI projects within RacePace.
• You Can Also Expect: Jump into a range of activities: from joining us at trail events to supporting marketing efforts, handling customer feedback, or exploring new tech tools.

Must-Haves

• Motivated to learn, adaptable, and eager to take ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Passion for sports and some foundation, especially in front-end development. Your educational background isn’t as important to us as your skills, drive, and willingness to learn. Startups are marathons—we’re looking for someone ready to run it with us!
• A passion for creating value and solving problems.

Nice-to-Haves (don’t worry if you don’t have them all!):

• Experience with front-end tech stack (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
• Familiarity with Python and web frameworks (ideally Django)
• Experience collaborating in tech teams (GIT, Github, Agile)
• Experience working in startups
• Background in sports (whether as an athlete, coach, or enthusiast)
• Languages: We work in English, but Spanish, Hebrew, or German are a plus.
