Role : AWS Cloud Engineer
Experience : 10 - 15+ Years
Location : Sydney/Melbourne
Essential Criteria:
- Work with different teams to gather requirements and develop automation for creating environments to run applications in the cloud.
- Ensure cloud resources are provisioned using Infrastructure as Code for version control, state management, reuse and repeatability.
- Ensure vulnerabilities are kept under control via monitoring / reporting and keeping under control by implementing remediations in a timely manner
- Ensure ITIL processes are followed for change release, configuration management and incident/problem management, including any issues post-deployment.
- 2-5 years of experience working as a Cloud Engineer in AWS, architecting and deploying environments using Infrastructure as Code, with a focus on data / IM technologies (RedShift, S3, MWAA, EMR, glue)
- Experience in AWS Administration
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of cloud-based technologies and architectures
- Hands-on experience with serverless and container technologies like RedShift, S3, EMR, glue and best practice use from an operations and security perspective.
- Experience in Terraform, Ansible, Cloudformation or similar technologies.
- Good working knowledge of common Operating systems (Windows server, Amazon Linux 2023, RHEL7/8/9) including patch management and updates
- Experience Python and Linux Shell Scripting skills
- Skills in Git, CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins/Bamboo)
