Senior Data Scientist - Product Company - Growth Opportunity

The role:

The Senior Data Scientist will be part of the Data Science team in the Engineering Department. You will report directly into the Data Science Team Lead.

As part of your main responsibilities, you will:

• Bring strong expertise and know-how in Data Science and Machine Learning (ML) Engineering.
• Be the primary go-to person for data Analysis and ML topics.
• Reinforce the company's technical project management capabilities by effectively coordinating project development across the Data Science stack.
• Contribute his/her experience and fresh ideas to the team for building and maintaining ML models at scale.

Your task:

Our client believes in setting clear objectives. Here are their expectations for your first 6 months as a Senior Data Scientist:

• After 2-3 weeks, you will add value as an Individual Contributor on data analysis, model development and machine learning productization.
• After 4 months, you will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the company’s business domain and application-specific features.
• After 6 months, you will effectively drive a project and be in charge of communication with the Product team.

What leads to success:

With 5yrs+ experience in building ML models with multiple data sources, operating ML models at scale and sales predictions using different types of data or marketing mix modelling, you will be a great team player with excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technologies you are expected to master: Python, SQL, AWS or other cloud infrastructures.
