This position requires on-site presence 3 days per week (Bucharest office).

We are looking for a Backend Java Developer to join our client’s team and contribute to the server-side development, collaborate closely with frontend engineers and integration teams, and help deliver secure, high-quality software that meets complex business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable backend infrastructure using Java and Spring Framework
• Write clean, maintainable and testable Java code
• Optimize performance and ensure responsiveness and quality of backend services
• Identify and fix bottlenecks, bugs and security issues
• Integrate backend logic with front‑end components and other systems
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation
• Support testing to ensure efficiency and reliability
• Stay up to date with technology trends and best practices
