Position Overview:
As a Junior Product Manager, you will support the Opus product team in translating user needs and strategic goals into actionable product features. You will collaborate with design, engineering, and client-facing teams to define requirements, manage the product backlog, and ensure successful delivery of key features. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong interest in AI, product development, and user-centric design.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and thrives in fast-moving environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Planning & Requirements
- Assist in gathering user needs, translating them into clear product requirements and user stories
- Maintain and groom the product backlog with support from the Senior Product Manager
- Help define product scope, priorities, and timelines in alignment with business goals
- Work with UX/UI designers to translate ideas into intuitive product experiences
Execution & Delivery
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams during sprint planning, reviews, and daily standups
- Support QA testing, documentation, and feature validation processes
- Track progress of ongoing work and flag any risks or blockers early
- Help ensure features are delivered on time and meet quality expectations
User & Market Research
- Participate in user research sessions, customer interviews, and internal feedback loops
- Analyze usage data, competitive benchmarks, and user pain points to identify improvement areas
- Stay updated on market trends in AI, workflow automation, and enterprise SaaS
Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams
- Prepare internal documentation, release notes, and feature walkthroughs
- Communicate product updates and changes to stakeholders clearly and proactively
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related field
- Exposure to SaaS platforms, AI, or startup environments are a plus
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Deep understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Notion, Figma, or similar
- Clear written and verbal communication
- A keen interest in user experience and AI technologies
- Highly organized with good time management and attention to detail
