Job Title: Process Engineer

Location: Oslo, Norway

Contract Duration: 12 Months


We’re hiring a Process Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team on a key upstream oil and gas project in Oslo. You’ll support process design, simulations, and deliverables throughout the engineering phases, working closely with senior engineers and other disciplines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform process simulations using Aspen HYSYS or similar tools
  • Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, data sheets, and process design documentation
  • Conduct process calculations including line sizing, relief sizing, and hydraulics
  • Participate in design reviews and HAZOP/HAZID sessions
  • Provide input on process safety and operability
  • Work with vendors and other engineering disciplines to ensure design alignment
  • Support procurement and construction with process-related queries
  • Contribute to engineering reports, project documentation, and regulatory submissions


Qualifications:

  • BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in oil & gas or energy projects
  • Strong experience with process simulation tools (e.g. Aspen HYSYS, UniSim)
  • Familiarity with Norwegian regulations and NORSOK standards is a plus
  • Fluent in English; Norwegian is an advantage
