Senior Process Engineer

Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

Location: Oslo, Norway

Contract Duration: 12 Months

We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to lead key work scopes on an ongoing offshore brownfield modification project. Based in Oslo, this position involves FEED and detail engineering for topside systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead process design activities and ensure high technical quality across deliverables
• Perform and verify process simulations (Aspen HYSYS/UniSim) and engineering calculations
• Prepare and review process documents (PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, control philosophies)
• Coordinate with safety, mechanical, instrumentation, and layout teams
• Lead HAZOPs, design reviews, and technical workshops
• Interface with clients, vendors, and offshore operations
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work
• Ensure compliance with NORSOK, Equinor TRs, and project standards

Qualifications:

• MSc or BSc in Process/Chemical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience, including North Sea projects
• Strong competence with process simulation tools and topside oil & gas systems
• Good knowledge of Norwegian HSE regulations and offshore standards
• Excellent communication skills in English; Norwegian is beneficial
