.NET Tech Lead

Job Description

A leading construction and industrial group in Norway is building a new in-house development team, and they’re looking for a hands-on .NET Tech Lead. You’ll take charge of two critical internal systems used across the company, guide technical direction, support junior developers, and be part of something that directly impacts real-world projects.

This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage, influence architecture and culture, and work closely with designers, users, and other tech teams in a highly collaborative environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead development of two major internal applications
• Own architecture and tech stack decisions
• Write and maintain clean, scalable backend and frontend code (60% backend / 40% frontend)
• Develop APIs and manage complex integrations
• Mentor junior developers
• Contribute to hiring and building the wider dev team
• Champion coding best practices and a strong dev culture
• Explore and test new technologies like AI and automation
• Work closely with users to understand needs and deliver solutions

Skills & Qualifications

Must-have:

• 5–8 years’ experience in software development
• Strong skills in .NET (C#) and Angular
• Solid experience building and maintaining REST APIs
• Comfortable taking technical ownership and working independently
• Fluent in Norwegian (English not sufficient for this role)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure and modern DevOps practices
• Exposure to AI/automation tools
• Leadership or mentoring experience
• Previous work in large-scale internal business applications
