Job Description
A leading construction and industrial group in Norway is building a new in-house development team, and they’re looking for a hands-on .NET Tech Lead. You’ll take charge of two critical internal systems used across the company, guide technical direction, support junior developers, and be part of something that directly impacts real-world projects.
This is a unique opportunity to join at an early stage, influence architecture and culture, and work closely with designers, users, and other tech teams in a highly collaborative environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead development of two major internal applications
- Own architecture and tech stack decisions
- Write and maintain clean, scalable backend and frontend code (60% backend / 40% frontend)
- Develop APIs and manage complex integrations
- Mentor junior developers
- Contribute to hiring and building the wider dev team
- Champion coding best practices and a strong dev culture
- Explore and test new technologies like AI and automation
- Work closely with users to understand needs and deliver solutions
Skills & Qualifications
Must-have:
- 5–8 years’ experience in software development
- Strong skills in .NET (C#) and Angular
- Solid experience building and maintaining REST APIs
- Comfortable taking technical ownership and working independently
- Fluent in Norwegian (English not sufficient for this role)
Nice to have:
- Experience with Azure and modern DevOps practices
- Exposure to AI/automation tools
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- Previous work in large-scale internal business applications
