Junior Data Engineer

Data Engineer: AWS | SQL | Python | Java

Our client is operating as a market maker within the energy trading domain. The company mainly focusses on renewable energy sources, utilizing social demographic-, economic- and weather data to maintain a profitable trading strategy.

The data team is at the hearth of the company, as the trading strategies are based on the different data sources and the vital insights created by the team.

This is the opportunity for data analysts and data scientist to make the step more towards data engineering. You will be the one who is gathering the data through scraping websites, figuring out the datapoints and modifying the data to make is useable for the traders.

What we are looking for:

1. 2+ years of professional experience in data
2. Experience with AWS (or another Public Cloud)
3. Familiarity with software development (Python, Java, SQL)
4. A strong drive to work hard and grow fast
