Senior Business Data Analyst

This is with one of our Banking client.

This role is ideal for a technically savvy Business Analyst with strong data analytics exposure. You will split your time between classic BA responsibilities and hands-on data analysis (60% BA / 40% DA), supporting the marketing analytics team and retail channel data initiatives.

You’ll work closely with institutional, mutual fund, and ETF teams, marketing operations, and data stakeholders to automate and improve analytics processes. Additionally, you’ll help with the migration of legacy systems, ensuring robust testing and data quality controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, operations, and product to gather and document data and reporting requirements
• Conduct deep data analysis using SQL, supporting analytics for retail channels
• Define, document, and execute test cases for data solutions and migrations
• Support the build and automation of analytics dashboards and reports
• Create and maintain design documentation and Confluence pages
• Ensure data quality monitoring and resolve data-related issues
• Contribute to the transition of end-of-life applications and processes to modern platforms

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 4+ years in a hybrid BA/DA role
• Strong SQL skills for data querying and validation
• Experience with test case development and execution
• Proficiency with Confluence and documentation best practices
• Excellent communication and professional writing skills
• Experience in design documentation and requirements gathering

Nice-to-Have Experience

• Asset management or fund accounting knowledge
• Familiarity with Eagle Investment Systems
• Tableau for reporting and dashboarding
