DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our client's dynamic technology team within the Financial Services/Govt Industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CI/CD pipeline management, cloud infrastructure, automation, and security best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to support agile development and frequent releases.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to ensure secure and compliant deployments.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues to improve availability and performance.
• Drive the adoption of DevOps best practices across the engineering teams.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and robust security controls in production environments.
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role.
• Proven experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy).
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Prometheus/Grafana.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Familiarity with security practices such as secrets management, access controls, and compliance frameworks (e.g., MAS TRM, ISO 27001).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
• Experience with service mesh, API gateways, and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Knowledge of observability and log aggregation tools (e.g., ELK stack, Fluentd, Splunk).
