Junior Analyst

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and business-savvy Data Analyst to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong passion for big data, analytics, and problem-solving. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, uncover actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making across a variety of business areas.

This role requires a mix of technical skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. You’ll be responsible for conducting both recurring reports and ad hoc analyses to help inform business strategy, optimize performance, and identify opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and opportunities
• Design, develop, and execute analyses to solve real-world problems using large datasets
• Clean, validate, and structure data for analysis from multiple sources
• Deliver clear and concise dashboards, reports, and presentations that inform decision-making
• Translate data findings into business insights and actionable recommendations
• Maintain and optimize recurring reporting processes
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across analyses

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or a related field
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in data analysis or a similar role
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Experience with spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets
• Ability to work with large datasets and summarize key insights
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python or R for data analysis
• Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes
• Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
