BMS Testing and Commissioning Engineer

Our client, a leading technology company specializing in automation and digitalization, is looking for an experienced BMS Testing & Commissioning Engineer for multiple projects.

Salary: QAR 8,500 Full Package

Working Hours/Days: 10 hours per day, 6 days a week

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BMS Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Engineer to join our operations team across various service project locations. This role requires a deep understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC controls, integration protocols, and field instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission and test BMS systems with focus on HVAC control and automation
• Program DDCs (Compact, Modular), FCU & VAV controllers as per Sequence of Operation
• Integrate 3rd-party systems using Modbus, BACnet, LonWorks, IP protocols
• Configure and test control systems for VFDs, AHUs, VAVs, FCUs, chillers, and pumps
• Troubleshoot and verify field sensors and instruments (air/water/flow/pressure)
• Develop, verify, and troubleshoot front-end BMS graphics and interfaces
• Supervise site operations, handle O&M activities, and ensure timely task closure via CAFM system
• Communicate effectively with clients through emails, reports, and on-site meetings
• Coordinate with commercial teams for invoicing documentation
• Provide accurate and timely updates and reports to customers
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in BMS commissioning and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of BMS protocols: BACnet/MSTP, Modbus/RS485, BACnet/IP, Modbus/IP, KNX, OPC
• Experience with Siemens Desigo X-works Plus, Desigo CC, ABT, RXT (preferred)
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and reporting capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Customer-oriented mindset
