Software: fuel for mobility
We bring bold digital visions to life. So we’re on the lookout for more curious and creative engineers who want to create change – one line of high-quality code at a time. Our transformation isn't for everyone, but if you're excited about solving the leading-edge technological challenges facing the auto industry, then let’s talk about your next move.
Data Management and Platform - Let’s introduce ourselves.
In modern vehicle development and especially for safety related functions, data plays an important role. The data is used for initial insights, development work (both verification and AI), and continuous improvements after launch. The large amounts of data that are required for vehicle development needs to be processed and managed to generate great products that provide a safe journey for our customers and are attractive to buy. Our organization provides value to the development teams by processing, organizing, and governing data, based on the needs for each team. We are looking for skilled analytics engineer to join the team that will work with data pipelines and building data products.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and take our organizations first steps towards data products that empower teams across the organization to make data-driven decisions. You'll work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure that data flows seamlessly through our systems, is of the highest quality, and can scale to meet our evolving needs. You will get a chance to contribute not only to efficient use of our data assets and resources, but also be an important part to develop safety functions that are core in the Volvo cars vehicles and saves lives, every day, around the world.
What You’ll Bring
We are looking for an engineer that is passionate for helping the organization to become more data driven and can convert the vision of data products to practical use and then scale up. To be successful in the role it is important to have good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. We believe you have a master’s degree in relevant data domain followed by a few years of practical experience.
