Civil Engineer

Position: Civil Engineer (For Omani only)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our project team in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil works on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. This is a site-based role involving coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise, and execute civil construction works at project sites as per project requirements.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and ensure proper implementation on-site.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely execution of work.
• Monitor progress against schedules and resolve technical issues on-site.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and report deviations to the Project Manager.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment on-site.
• Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders for approvals and inspections.
• Support procurement by identifying material requirements as per site needs.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or EPC projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil works including foundations, structures, and finishing works.
• Experience working on project sites in the GCC is an advantage.
• Proficient in project management tools, AutoCAD, MS Office, and site reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Should be available to relocate to Oman immediately or within a short notice period.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience and industry standards
