Mobile QA Lead

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile QA Lead to spearhead our mobile application testing efforts.

This role involves defining and implementing robust automation strategies, frameworks, and processes that ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile apps while supporting advanced testing requirements such as security, performance, and platform-specific features.

Responsibilities


  • Define QA best practices, processes, and automation strategies to ensure high-quality mobile applications
  • Design and continually evolve an automation framework to accelerate testing across mobile apps (iOS & Android)
  • Ensure the QA strategy aligns with the organization’s broader goals and test strategy
  • Build, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts for mobile applications
  • Automate comprehensive test suites that cover functional, performance, security, and regression tests
  • Design and execute tests for advanced features such as root and jailbreak detection, NFC, GPS, biometrics, and more


Requirements


  • Proven expertise as a Senior Test Automation Engineer with a focus on mobile app testing
  • Strong hands-on experience building automation frameworks tailored to mobile platforms like Android and iOS using tools including Appium, Espresso, and XCUITest
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Kotlin, or Swift for test automation
  • Background in mobile-specific testing requirements, such as root and jailbreak detection, NFC functionality, GPS integration, and biometric authentication
  • Thorough knowledge of manual and automated testing processes, including exploratory testing
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies and SDLC best practices


Nice to have


  • Experience with cloud-based mobile testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or Firebase Test Lab
  • Knowledge of mobile security testing frameworks and vulnerability assessment tools
  • Familiarity with mobile testing tools like Calabash, Detox, and TestComplete
  • Showcase of expertise using monitoring tools such as Crashlytics or Dynatrace
