We are looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building and optimizing scalable infrastructure solutions.

In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices, streamline deployment pipelines, and ensure the reliability of systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing state-of-the-art tools and methodologies to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain infrastructure to support robust and scalable microservices architectures
Work collaboratively with development teams to embed DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle
Oversee version control systems and implement effective branching strategies for monorepos and microservices
Optimize and manage build automation processes using tools like Gradle to enhance development efficiency
Configure and maintain CI pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Postman, and Pact for API testing
Leverage containerization technologies like Docker and manage Kubernetes orchestration for microservices deployments
Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible to define and provision infrastructure
Implement monitoring and logging solutions, including Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack, to ensure system observability
Develop Shell or Python scripts and manage Java-based components for codebase maintenance
Set up and manage CD pipelines to ensure seamless microservices delivery using tools like Terraform and Harbor
Apply security practices for microservices, focusing on container and network security within CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with development and operations teams to document workflows and share knowledge effectively
Advocate for Agile methodologies and DevOps principles to improve team processes and delivery

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role
A minimum of one year of experience leading and managing development teams
Strong expertise in Git for version control, including the implementation of branching strategies for monorepos and microservices
Advanced skills in build automation tools like Gradle, particularly for microservices development
Proficiency in configuring and managing CI tools such as Jenkins, Postman, and Pact
Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible for managing infrastructure changes
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, as well as logging solutions like ELK stack
Skilled in scripting languages like Shell or Python, with familiarity in Java for codebase management
Experience setting up CD pipelines and deploying microservices using tools like Terraform and Harbor
Understanding of security practices for microservices, including container and network security strategies
Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork across development and operations teams
Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles for improving team efficiency
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) for managing container orchestration in AWS environments
Familiarity with Grafana for advanced system monitoring and data visualization
Knowledge of OpenSearch for scalable data analytics and search in distributed systems
Understanding of Prometheus for metrics collection and system monitoring
Experience with Rancher for Kubernetes management and deployment automation
