Our client, a leading consultancy, is looking for a Network Engineer with a background in Telecoms. This role will require the candidate to be on-site 5 days a week in West London.
Key skills required:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
- F5 LTM (Local Traffic Manager)
- Akamai CDN and security solutions
- Fortinet Fortigate firewalls and FortiManager
- Juniper SRX firewalls and Juniper switches
- Cisco ISE for RADIUS and network access control
- Cisco Nexus 7000 series switches
- Proven expertise in ACLs, network segmentation, and perimeter defence strategies.
- Deep understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.), and high availability concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with packet capture and log analysis experience.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, SNMP-based tools).
