DevOps Engineer – Fintech (Antwerp)
Daily Rate: €800 - €850
Location: Antwerp, Belgium (Hybrid/On-site)
Contract: Freelance / 6+ months
About the Role
Join a fast-growing fintech company based in Antwerp as a DevOps Engineer. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines to enable secure, scalable, and efficient software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous software integration and deployment.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with developers and security teams to embed DevOps best practices.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot production issues.
- Ensure compliance with fintech industry security standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in fintech or financial services.
- Strong cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with containerization: Docker & Kubernetes.
- Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of fintech security and compliance best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
- Familiarity with microservices and API management.
