The Cybersecurity Directorate ensures the IT security of data and strives to stay one step ahead of cybercriminals. We proactively identify risks and raise alerts in a timely manner.


What can you expect from us?

You will join the operational core and contribute to the country’s security. You will be responsible for coordinating all agents in our first response team. The NOC/SOC team (Network Operations Center / Security Operations Center) ensures the IT security of data and systems, and stays ahead of cybercriminals. We proactively identify risks and raise alerts on time.


What will your tasks be?

As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will play a key role in protecting the organization’s network infrastructure from internal and external threats. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring network security measures that contribute to the resilience and reliability of our IT environment. You will work closely with the NOC/SOC team, network architects, and cybersecurity officers, and contribute actively to the organization’s overall security strategy.


Main Responsibilities

1.Network Security Design and Implementation

o Develop network security strategies in line with best practices and regulations.

o Configure, maintain, and improve security equipment such as next-gen firewalls, VPNs, proxy servers (forward/reverse), and load balancers.

o Apply and manage Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) principles.


2.Monitoring and Performance Management

o Continuously monitor network traffic using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and other detection tools.

o Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments, including reporting and recommendations.

o Manage network performance and secure connections like ExpressRoute, ISP links, and enterprise WiFi.


3.Incident Response and Technical Support

o Quickly diagnose and resolve security incidents.

o Provide high-level technical support to other departments.

o Document incidents and contribute to post-incident analysis and improvement efforts.


4.Automation and Efficiency

o Develop scripts to automate routine tasks using tools like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

o Integrate security tools into existing infrastructure and workflows.

Technical Expertise

• Network Management and Routing: Experience with dynamic/static routing, DNS, TACACS, ExpressRoute.

• Network Security: Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, proxies, WAFs, and load balancers.

• Cloud Security: Securing hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS), encryption, and

access control.

• Incident Management: Familiarity with CSIRT/CERT processes and threat analysis.

• Automation: Scripting skills for efficiency improvement.

• Operating Systems: Comfortable with Linux and Windows environments.

• Standards and Protocols: Familiar with ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, cryptographic protocols, and RFC standards.


Preferred Certifications

• Certifications considered an asset: CISSP, CISM, GIAC GCIH / GSTRT, CEH, CTIA, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CyberOps.

• Willingness to pursue continuous training and professional certification in networking and security.
