Hybrid Work

My client (a large FS company in Dublin) is looking for an experienced Scrum Master or Agile coach with deep agile expertise who thrives on coaching, mentoring, and empowering individuals and teams. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in enabling leaders and teams to unlock their full agile potential, promoting a mindset of continuous improvement, innovation, and servant leadership.

This is a brand new role with two positions available and a chance to join an extremely reputable company with a flexible working style, attractive day rates and very talented teams.

This is a high-impact opportunity to shape agile maturity and strengthen delivery capability across domains, tribes, and squads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders, teams, and individuals to evolve their agile practices and mindset.
  • Influence and embed agile principles (Scrum, MVPs, servant leadership) into daily workflows and decision-making.
  • Lead the design and delivery of coaching and training sessions to build agile capability and culture at all levels.
  • Guide squads and product areas to improve agile maturity, delivery effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Support agile ceremonies and tooling (e.g., Jira, Jira Align) and provide best practices to enhance adoption.
  • Partner with leadership to remove blockers, foster collaboration, and embed agile ways of working across teams.
  • Promote a culture of learning by sharing new practices, insights, and success stories across the wider organisation.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years in agile leadership roles (e.g., Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Squad Leader).
  • Proven experience coaching senior leaders and teams through agile transformations.
  • Deep expertise in agile frameworks, continuous improvement, and behavioural change.
  • Exceptional influencing and communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
  • Track record of mentoring individuals and teams to increase agile maturity and business value delivery.
  • Hands-on experience with agile tools such as Jira and Jira Align (preferred).
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to drive engagement in group coaching and training sessions.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster servant leadership, experimentation, and lean thinking.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in complex, regulated environments (e.g., financial services) is a plus.
