We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist for Products to join our team. This role will focus on ensuring the security of our selected products by developing and implementing comprehensive product security strategies and ensure security throughout the product management life-cycle. The ideal candidate will stay abreast of industry trends, standardization, upcoming certifications, and manage vulnerabilities and libraries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Strategy Development: Prepare and implement security strategies for selected products to ensure robust protection against cyber threats.
  • Industry Trends and Standardization: Monitor and analyze industry trends, standards, and best practices to ensure our products meet the highest security standards.
  • Certifications: Identify and pursue relevant cybersecurity certifications for our products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and manage the remediation process to mitigate risks.
  • Library Management: Oversee the management of third-party libraries and components used in our products, ensuring they are secure and up to date.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments for products to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product development and information security teams to integrate security best practices into the product lifecycle.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of product security strategies, policies, procedures, and incident reports.
  • Bid Support: Assist in fulfilling the security requirements of bids by providing detailed security information, strategies, and compliance documentation to support the bidding process.
  • Encouraging the sharing of knowledge with colleagues.
  • Performing tasks and activities in accordance with company standards and guidelines.

Performing other tasks related to the area of responsibility, in accordance with the instructions of the supervisor.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on product security.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
