We don't have the fame, but we've got the flame. We are a distributed group of specialists within NTT DATA Romania, who make the best out of JVM-based technologies, creativity and business solutions. Referred to as Java Competence Center, we co-create and co-accelerate with key players in any field. Without being limited to any business unit, we demonstrated our deep Java development expertise by delivering SaaS platforms in various domains: Web Applications in e-Commerce, Automotive, Telco, Insurance, Banking and Public sector, even Big Data and scientific applications. Our current emphasis lies on PaaS solutions, with a specific focus on Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift, AWS, and Cloud Foundry. With the increasing demand for Microservices projects, we have created a reference architecture for our major clients, researched various frameworks, and identified the ones that are highly sought after by the large enterprises we collaborate with.

Briefly introduction of the product, service, or feature in the project:

The Settings-System provides a central system for the omnichannel platform with the following options:
Registration of setting definitions by other applications
Querying of setting values by the applications
Administration of settings by
Bank administrators
Development/Operations (Atruvia)

The settings provided allow system behavior to be customized without deploying new code. The specific settings are created by the business domains and registered in the Settings-System.

What You'll Be Doing

Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular (including HTML, CSS, TypeScript)
Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot
Work with Oracle databases, including designing schemas, writing complex SQL queries, and optimizing performance
Integrate and utilize Elasticsearch for full-text search, complex querying, and data analytics features
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications within Kubernetes cluster
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions
Implement and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and application reliability
Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and contribute to best practices within the development team
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across the full stack
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends in fullstack development, especially within the Angular, Spring Boot, and Oracle ecosystems
Implement and maintain end-to-end (E2E) and component tests using Cypress to ensure application quality and stability

What You'll Bring Along

Strong proficiency in Angular (e.g., Angular 10+), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Practical experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes
Solid experience with Java development and the Spring Boot framework
Demonstrable experience working with Oracle databases
Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch for search and indexing
Proven experience with Cypress for automated testing (E2E, component, integration)
Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Understanding of software development methodologies, especially Agile (Scrum)
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
