Requirements

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient, and secure microservices using Python.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with a focus on Cloud Run.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability across cloud-native environments.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
  • Monitor, debug, and resolve issues in production systems to ensure reliability and high availability.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code while adhering to established coding standards.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and best practices in microservices architecture and cloud computing.
  • Proven experience developing microservices using Python.
  • Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and related services.
  • Strong familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling.
  • Proficient in using Git and version control workflows.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and best practices for automated deployment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of working both independently and within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience with Python frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Terraform, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Google Cloud Monitoring (Stackdriver).
  • Experience working with or deploying applications on other cloud platforms is a plus.
