We're Hiring: ML Engineer (NLP/LLMs)

A well-established U.S.-based company in the renewable energy sector is launching a new cloud-native platform as part of its transformation into a total energy solutions provider — and we’re building it from scratch!

We’re looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with a focus on NLP and LLMs to join our team. The project is already active, and you’ll be working alongside an experienced, fully local team of 21 people on our side.

And here’s the key part: you’ll be the first AI Engineer on the project.

🧠 Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy ML solutions with a strong focus on high-quality, production-ready code
• Develop real-time document processing systems for generating RFPs from client requests and attached files
• Preprocess and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data (text, scanned documents, metadata) using tools like Pandas and NumPy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, PMs, and developers to understand requirements and design effective ML solutions

✅ Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience developing and deploying ML models and systems
• Strong foundation in ML concepts; specialization in NLP, LLMs, or Computer Vision is a big plus
• Solid data analysis skills using Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib
• Advanced Python development skills (including packaging and dependency management)
• Basic backend development experience (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• English at B1 level or higher; prior experience working in international teams is a plus

🔍 Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of Transformer architectures, self-attention, and deep learning
• Experience with NLP tools and libraries such as spaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face
• Familiarity with LLM techniques (RAG, LangChain)
• Comfortable with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployment
• Knowledge of vector databases (Qdrant), PDF parsing (pymupdf), and embedding search (fastembed)
