Education Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Required Skills:

Mandatory Work Experience:

• Proven experience in Java Development with expertise in Spring Boot and other Java frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle Database, including excellent query writing skills.
• Hands-on experience with AppDynamics and other monitoring tools.
• Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting and PL/SQL scripting.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic or similar middleware technologies such as NGINX.
• Knowledge of web servers, including Apache Tomcat, iPlanet, and IIS.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals.
• Mid to expert-level knowledge of Azure Cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of SSL certificates and their management.

Optional Skills:

• Domain knowledge in Application Support.

Job Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Application & Cloud Administrator based in Sharjah. The role involves:

• Providing application support and system administration
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Utilizing analytical skills to ensure the smooth operation of applications and cloud services.
• Collaborating with teams to maintain application performance and reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deploy and configure Java Spring Boot and other applications on WebLogic or similar platforms.
• Operate and monitor web and mobile applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and report anomalies and errors, while maintaining detailed records.
• Provide daily support, maintenance, and management of application platforms.
• Deliver Level-II support and escalate issues to IT Development and Executives as needed.
• Forecast system demands and recommend upgrades, expansions, and reconfigurations.
• Develop and maintain high standards for procedures and policies to address routine tasks and resolution protocols.
• Address customer complaints promptly while adhering to section KPIs.
• Document, follow up, and maintain released applications.
• Provide 24x7 Tier 2 support for critical systems.
• Report application performance metrics to line managers.
• Gain exposure to networking, Windows administration, and other infrastructure applications.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
