UX/UI Designer (225-709)

Job Description

The UX/UI Designer plays a crucial role in shaping the user experience and interface design for digital products and applications. Working collaboratively with product managers, developers, and stakeholders, the UX/UI Designer is responsible for ensuring that customers have a seamless and engaging experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and be adept at translating complex ideas into intuitive and aesthetically pleasing designs. The role requires creativity, technical skills, and a keen eye for detail, aiming to enhance user satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and overall appeal of the product. This position offers an exciting opportunity to innovate and influence the way users interact with technology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Develop original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve and refine the designs.
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards across projects.
• Conduct usability testing to identify and solve UX problems, ensuring a seamless user journey.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure the technical feasibility and execution of designs.
• Stay updated with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies to implement the best practices.
• Manage and maintain design consistency across all projects and platforms.
• Ensure all designs are responsive and optimized for mobile devices and browsers.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role in a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects and successes in UX/UI design.
• Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
• In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a relevant field is preferred.
