Position: Senior Front-End Software Developer

The Leading Transportation Company is seeking Senior Front-End Developers with proven expertise in React and Next.js to join Agile development teams responsible for building modern, accessible, and secure cloud-native web applications. Candidates must be able to translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional and responsive web interfaces

Responsibilities

· Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, Cloud Architects, and backend developers to deliver high-quality front-end solutions.

· Develop user-friendly, accessible, responsive interfaces using React, Next.js, and related technologies.

· Integrate front-end UIs with RESTful APIs and backend services.

· Ensure compliance with AODA/WCAG accessibility standards.

· Perform unit testing, participate in QA and regression testing, and support test automation efforts.

· Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum, planning, demos, retrospectives) and contribute to task estimation.

· Maintain code quality, design consistency, and adhere to brand guidelines.

· Troubleshoot and support production applications, ensuring reliability and performance.

· Stay up to date on emerging UI/UX trends, frameworks, and technologies

Must have Skills

· 5+ years experience in front-end development.

· 3+ years hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js.

· Strong proficiency in:

o JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript

o Node.js & NPM

o HTML5/CSS3, JSX

o RESTful API integration

o Git, SVN, GitHub Pull Request workflow

o Swagger-UI, Postman

o OAuth2.0/JWT

· Experience with:

o React libraries like React Hook Form, React Query, Zustand

o Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), AODA testing tools (e.g. WAVE, AXE)

o Secure coding standards (OWASP), CORS, TLS, SSO

Nice-to-Haves (20%):

· Experience in test automation (e.g. Karma, Jasmine, Playwright)

· Exposure to backend APIs (e.g. SpringBoot)

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes

· JSON data handling and API testing

· Cross-browser compatibility and responsive UI design

Agile Delivery Experience (20%)

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

· Comfortable with Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, iteration planning, and sprint reviews.

· Collaborative mindset with experience in balanced teams (developers, testers, designers, product managers)
