Job Role Overview

As Product Manager in Horizon56, you will be part of the product team which is comprised of additional Product Manager(s) who you will coordinate and work closely with. Additional team members will also include UI/UX Designers and Subject Matter Experts. You will primarily be assigned as Product Manager for one of our core products. This will also include being the main point of contact for some of our key customers.

A large part of the role will be managing the delivery process from initial research to the handover of detailed design to our “in-house” development team. It will also be a requirement to utilize and supervise the various resources that is required in this process. The Horizon56 product team use agile methodology as the foundation to our daily work and the successful applicant will be provided with a full introduction and training to learn “the Horizon56” way of doing things (we also hope you can bring your own ideas on how to improve things too!). The job role may also require you to occasionally be utilized for other responsibilities outside the primary job description, but this will be based on when needed.

Job Role Responsibilities

· Collaborating, leading and managing other product team members and external resources (when applicable), including setting goals and objectives for the team and offering support and input when needed.

· To ensure development work related to their assigned responsibilities has been completed according to specification.

· Identifying process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team

· Be up to date and aware of Horizon56 long term roadmap and priorities.

· Be up to date and aware of contractual obligations and deliverables with regards to work relating to their responsibilities.

· Be active in the collection and processing of customer feedback.

· Being part of the “lead” team to manage the process of prioritization and sprint planning for both the product and development team.

Required qualifications and experience

This job requires the employee to work from the office location provided by Horizon56 in Stavanger. This will involve commuting to the office on a regular basis. It is important to note that the ability to work remotely or from a different location is not ruled out, but it is not the primary preference for this job. The purpose of this preference is to enhance and promote collaboration with team members and complete tasks efficiently.

Additionally, there may be occasional requests for the employee to travel to other locations for business purposes. These trips may be required to attend conferences, meet with clients, or participate in company events etc. It is the intention of Horizon56 to respect the employees’ personal commitments and responsibilities when requesting such travel and always derive to a mutual arrangement that suits all parties involved.
