Position Overview:


Britts Imperial University College is seeking a highly qualified and motivated IT Faculty Member to join our distinguished team. The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Information Technology or a closely related field and have a strong passion for teaching, research, and academic development.


Key Responsibilities:


● Teaching: Deliver engaging and high-quality lectures and seminars in IT-related subjects to undergraduate and graduate students. Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and exams.

● Research: Conduct cutting-edge research in IT and related fields. Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at academic conferences.

● Academic Advising: Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students, including advising on research projects, career paths, and academic progress.

● Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the IT curriculum, ensuring it meets the latest industry standards and technological advancements.

● Institutional Service: Participate in departmental and college-wide committees, contribute to strategic planning, and engage in community outreach activities.

● Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in the field of IT, including new technologies, methodologies, and best practices.


Qualifications:


● Educational Requirements: Ph.D. in Information Technology or a closely related field from a recognized institution.

● Experience: Demonstrated experience in teaching at the university level, with a record of scholarly research and publications. Experience in industry or applied IT projects is a plus.

● Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to engage and inspire students. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in relevant IT tools and technologies.
