Cyber Security Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst with hands-on experience in operational Security Operations Centre (SOC) environments, a deep understanding of cyber threats, and strong technical expertise with modern SIEM platforms-especially Microsoft Sentinel.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience in an operational SOC environment with a solid grasp of incident response workflows.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Sentinel, including custom detection rules and analytics.

• A strong working knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, Mitre ATT&CK, D3FEND).

• The ability to develop documentation, streamline processes, and lead operational enhancements.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  
  

While not mandatory, the following will set you apart:

• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.

• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Perl).

• Familiarity with forensic tools and techniques (Wireshark, Autopsy, SANS SIFT).

• Experience working with Linux/UNIX and Windows systems.

• Knowledge of compliance and security standards like ACSC ISM, ISO27001, PCI DSS, or Information Standard 18.

• Certifications (e.g., SANS, CISSP, Microsoft Security, Azure certifications).

• Postgraduate qualifications in Cyber Security, ICT, or Information Systems.
