Our client, a major player in the financial services sector, is seeking a dynamic Head of Analytics to drive data strategy, lead a high performing team, and deliver actionable insights that shape commercial and customer outcomes across the business.
The Opportunity
As the Head of Analytics, you play a critical leadership role across the enterprise. You’ll be responsible for setting the vision and roadmap for data analytics, championing data-driven decision making, and influencing senior stakeholders across product, digital, risk, operations, and marketing functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary analytics team (data scientists, BI analysts, data engineers) to deliver enterprise-wide impact
- Develop and execute the analytics strategy aligned with business and customer objectives
- Translate complex data into compelling insights that support commercial growth, risk mitigation, and innovation
- Collaborate closely with executives and product leaders to embed analytics into core business processes
- Oversee data governance, quality assurance, and compliance within analytics workflows
- Champion the use of advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive modelling across the business
About You
- Proven experience leading analytics functions within financial services (Personal/transactional banking experience)
- Strong technical understanding in analytics, data science, and modern data platforms and tools (SQL, Python, DataBricks, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at C suite level
- A strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with operational excellence
- Passionate about data, innovation, and driving measurable business outcomes
