🚨 Hiring: Fullstack Developer 3+ years – Javascript | Security & DevSecOps – Banking Sector

📍 Location: Belgium (hybrid 50% homework)

💼 Freelance or Employed consultant (under Innova solutions)

Are you a JavaScript developer with 3+ years of experience and a strong focus on secure coding and DevSecOps best practices? We're looking for a Fullstack Developer to join high-impact project in the banking and finance sector where performance, resilience, and cybersecurity are mission-critical.

You'll work hands-on with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and Next.js, applying a DevSecOps mindset to patch vulnerabilities, secure CI/CD workflows, and build production-grade features alongside a collaborative tech team.

🔐 Your mission:

• Remediate vulnerabilities in React, Node.js, and Next.js codebases with clean, maintainable, and secure code
• Patch, upgrade, or replace vulnerable npm dependencies
• Build features with scalability and security in mind
• Apply OWASP best practices and lead efforts in SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning
• Write strong test coverage (unit, integration, E2E) to maintain code quality
• Collaborate closely with PO’s, Scrum Masters, and developers across the lifecycle
• Operate with a DevSecOps mindset, embedding security in development and deployment pipelines

🧰 Tech stack:

Front-end: React.js & React Native (styled-components), Next.js, Micro frontends

Back-end: Node.js (TypeScript), TypeORM (or modern ORM), REST/gRPC, OpenAPI

Security: SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, OWASP

DevOps & Infra: GitLab CI/CD, AWS (EC2, RDS, ECS), Terraform (infra-as-code)

Nice-to-haves: GraphQL, C# .NET

✅ Must-haves:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in fullstack JavaScript development
• Proven background in secure development and vulnerability remediation
• Experience in the banking or financial sector
• Fluent in English, with working proficiency in Dutch or French
• Strong Agile collaboration and ownership attitude
