Position Overview:

Program Leadership & Strategy

• Defining and articulating the internal project vision, scope, and objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
• Act as the primary internal stakeholder for the program, representing the organization’s interests with the implementation supplier.

Project Governance & Reporting

• Establish and maintain a clear project governance framework, including roles, responsibilities, decision-making processes, and escalation paths.
• Organize and facilitate regular Project Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings — preparing agendas, producing minutes, and ensuring follow-up on decisions and actions.
• Define and implement escalation procedures for critical issues, risks, and scope changes, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain clear communication channels and reporting mechanisms to keep all stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and issues.
• Prepare and present executive-level progress reports to the Steering Committee and senior leadership.

Supplier Management

• Oversee and manage the relationship with the implementation supplier, ensuring adherence to contracts, scope, and deliverables.
• Monitor progress against the agreed project plan and milestones.
• Facilitate communication and issue resolution between internal teams and the supplier.

Project Planning & Execution

• Develop and manage detailed work plans including task assignments, deadlines, and dependencies for internal activities.
• Track project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage risks and issues, including mitigation strategies and escalation paths.
• Oversee integration of Microsoft 365 services (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint), Azure data platform components, and the Copilot enablement strategy.

Change Management & Adoption (with a Copilot Focus)

• Collaborate with internal communications and training teams to build and execute a strong management strategy.
• Drive user understanding and adoption of new capabilities across business functions.
• Monitor feedback and adoption rates, adjusting the change strategy as needed.

What you'll do:

• 7+ years of proven experience managing complex IT programs/projects, preferably in digital transformation or enterprise software implementation in banking or financial services.
• Deep understanding of regulatory, compliance, security, and data privacy requirements in financial institutions.
• Strong grasp of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and their pragmatic application.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online) from an enterprise deployment and adoption perspective.
• Familiarity with Azure data platform components, including Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, and Power BI — and how they integrate with Microsoft 365.
• Proven success managing large-scale third-party implementers/integrators.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to executives.
• Experience driving adoption of new technologies in large organizations.
• Ability to recognize and overcome resistance to change, especially related to AI tools like Microsoft Copilot.
