Project Manager | Pharmaceutical | 12 month contract + Extensions
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering high-impact engineering projects in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry?
We're looking for a talented and driven individual to join an Engineering Project Delivery Team at a state-of-the-art Innovative Medicine site in Little Island.
This is an exciting contract opportunity where you'll be instrumental in leading strategic, multi-disciplinary capital projects from inception to completion. If you thrive in a dynamic, regulated environment and are ready to make a significant contribution, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Leading Project Delivery: Drive the successful execution of strategic engineering projects, ensuring they're completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- End-to-End Project Ownership: From scoping new projects and estimating costs to securing capital approval and managing budgets, you'll oversee the entire project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Keep management and project stakeholders informed on progress, manage risks, and coordinate interfaces with other departments and third parties.
- Overseeing Key Phases: Guide design, construction, commissioning, and qualification activities, ensuring all project documentation meets GDP requirements.
- Compliance & Excellence: Ensure all projects adhere to established change management procedures and site EHS and cGMP regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership to cross-functional project teams, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and open communication.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- A Third Level Qualification in Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Science.
- At least 8 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 3 years in the pharma/medical device industry and 3 years in a project management role.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead by example and build strong relationships across all departments.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience delivering engineering projects within a GMP-regulated environment.
- API manufacturing experience.
- A Project Management qualification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with SAP, LIM's, or other business systems is a plus.
- Training in 6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience working within an engineering team in a multinational corporate environment.
