Business Analyst (Workday), Workday Implementation Project (12M, Dublin)

BUSINESS ANALYST for a Workday Absence and Time project required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Life Sciences client at their European Business Office in Dublin. Initial 12 month contract on offer.

The BUSINESS ANALYST:

• Role will involve collaborating with the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will lead the HR workstream for the Time & Absence project.
• Will assist the SME and handle various tasks related to Core HR, including case management and reporting.
• Requires a solid understanding of HR processes, analytical skills, and expertise in Workday functionalities.
• Will be involved in the development and facilitation of requirements workshops and process mapping is essential.
• Will have previous experience with Workday Absence, Time, and Core HR modules.

NOTE: No sponsorship is provided for this role so applicants need to already have Irish / EU citizenship OR the relevant Stamp / Visa in place.

THE ROLE:

Support for Time and Absence Project:

• Assist the internal SME in gathering and documenting business requirements for the Workday Absence and Time modules.
• Document current and future state process maps.
• Support the testing and deployment activities under the guidance of the SME.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
• Work closely with HR teams, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the Time and Absence modules with existing HR processes.

Core HR BAU Activities:

• Administer day-to-day operations and support for Core HR processes within Workday.
• Handle case management and resolve HR-related queries and issues.
• Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into HR metrics and performance.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Provide regular updates to the internal SME on progress and any challenges encountered.
• Facilitate effective communication between the project team and HR operations.

Data Management and Reporting:

• Ensure data integrity and accuracy within Workday for both Time and Absence and Core HR modules.
• Develop and maintain reports to support HR decision-making.
• Analyze data trends and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Training and Support:

• Assist in developing training materials and conducting training sessions for end-users.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday users in Core HR areas.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by HR teams or end-users promptly.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience as an HR Business Analyst or similar role, with exposure to Workday Absence, Time, and Core HR modules.
• Experience supporting international processes in multiple countries.
• Proficiency in process mapping, with the ability to document and analyze both current and future state processes effectively.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Workday operations and reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Workday certification in Absence, Time Tracking, or Core HR preferred.
